In 2016 Switzerland has again been ranked as the world’s most competitive economy by the World Economic Forum WEF. To a large extent this is also due to the highly skilled work force available. The country owes this strength to a strong culture of professional education and vocational training as well as further education and a first class academic landscape.

Winterthur is the first city of study in Switzerland and hosts the International Congress on Vocational and Professional Education and Training. First-range participants from more than 80 nations meet to discuss the global impact of vocational education. Hong Kong has always been very actively involved with representatives of the Vocational Training Council (VTC)

It is now time for the congress to visit Hong Kong! We look forward to premium speakers from the fields of politics, economy and education, and are very pleased to welcome you as participants. We expect a lively and highly relevant exchange and much learning about the different perspectives on the importance of professional training for the business success of a company, a country and a society.
