On 9 July, Mr. Hannes Germann, President of the Swiss Sates Council, and Mr. Jean-Jasques de Dardel, Ambassador of Switzerland to the PeopleÕs Republic of China, paid a visit to the Guiyang Free Trade Zone after attending the Eco Forum Global Annual Conference Guiyang 2014. The zone includes a Swiss products and commodities exhibition area, in which consumers can buy Swiss-made goods such as Swiss food, maternal and infant supplies, outdoor equipments and Swiss watches. Mr. Hannes Germann was deeply impressed by the handicraft works, food and beverage cultures in Guizhou theme pavilion. He encouraged Chinese citizens to travel or invest in Switzerland and wished the Guiyang Free Trade Zone a bright future.
