Market Manager APAC (focus China) with potential as Managing Director

We are looking for an experienced technical sales personality who wants to work for a Swiss company and become later on the founder of Traco Power Asia.

The person can live and work in China, no relocation to Switzerland is needed.

Main Objectives:

  • Profitable sales within the area of responsibility
  • Manage, monitor and develop the APAC Market
  • Represent and position “TRACO POWER”
  • Ensure that Traco Power is positioned as the main power supply specialist and a reliable, technical competent partner

Main Tasks:

  • Responsible and prime contact for the whole customer journey
  • Structured business development and definition of strategies for key countries in APAC, esp. with focus on China.
  • Plan, implement, measure impact & take corrective actions for branding, market promotion, event & training activities
  • Retain key customers and ensure that Traco Power is continuously used throughout the product life cycle

Requirements:

  • BSc / MSc in Electrical Engineering / Power Electronics or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in the power supply market
  • 5+ years of experience in market development / business development
  • Fluent in Chinese and English/German. Other languages are an advantage.
  • Pro-active sales behavior
  • Good understanding of different cultures
  • Team player

Reports to: Country Managing Director, dotted line to Head Human Resources Asia

Location: China

The Role:

The HR Business Partner is a generalist and responsible to deliver our People agenda including talent acquisition, performance management and employee engagement for our China operation. You will support the managers and team on all people matters, seek to develop their capabilities to enable the business to be more engaged and productive in delivering our business results. You strive to perform in fast paced environment and value a fun and positive teamwork.

Accountabilities:

  • Partner with management team to coach and support managers on employee relations and HR matters to achieve business results, upskill leadership and performance in organization
  • Drive the talent management initiatives in the organization
  • Recruit talents, on-boarding & induction, engage and retain, exit separation
  • Actively promote Logicalis employer value proposition to internal & external channels
  • Be an Employee advocate and drive employee engagement activities to improve motivation and retention in the organization
  • Implement organization development through supporting performance management process, development of training plan, maintain employee training records and conduct essential trainings
  • Design and maintain HR policies & benefits programs in compliance with regulatory requirements
  • Support all compensation benchmark, salary reviews and benefits implementation to ensure compliance with regulations, internal process & market competitiveness
  • Prepares and maintain payroll, employee database, reports and analysis. Ensure a high level of accuracy in all HR records and documents in compliance of all labor requirements
  • Participate in the implementation of regional HR initiatives to deliver our People agenda

The Individual and Their Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant hands on HR professional experience with recognized degree from a reputable education institution
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation
  • Able to develop and build good working relationship across all levels
  • Proven ability to deliver and make change
