Regional Product Manager (RPM) – ICS

Job Location: Shenzhen

Context and Main Missions:

  • Develop the product strategy for LEM ICS (Small Drives/Power conversion/New Applications) business in China alignment with GPM and LEM global strategy.
  • Be the technical center for application know-how of transducers in the ICS (Small Drives/Power conversion/New Applications) business in China and drive design-in at key customers.
  • Work closely with sales, R&D and other functions to ensure new product meet market needs.
  • Identify new business opportunities.
  • Train sales/RD teams on applications/market trends.

Key Responsibilities:

1) Gain & Understand market knowledge:

  • Understand and communicate market trends in the ICS (Small Drives/Power conversion/New Applications) markets
  • Understand competition
  • Actively contribute to the global market strategy
  • Visit key customers

2) Support the new products definition:

  • Understand customer technical challenges and the value of our solution
  • Actively push new product/technologies at key customers
  • Support key customers with technical questions
  • Define product specifications with GPM

3) Gain Design-ins:

  • Identify alpha customers and promote
  • Target sales towards important accounts
  • Opportunity follow up (Track / Support / Help to close the deal)
  • Prioritize needs / opportunities

4) Share the knowledge:

  • Train sales on applications/market trends
  • Share best practices with customers
  • Share consolidated market trends/needs with GPM


  • Master degree in the electronics or Micro-electronics
  • Minimum of 10 years’ experience with a success track record in R&D and/ or application / system engineering.
  • Solid understanding and experience of the Power Electronics segment is a Must
  • Automotive experience, with knowledge of functional safety standards (e.g. ISO26262) is a plus
  • Strong organizational and communication/influencing skills
  • Fluent English written, verbal, and presentation communications skills
  • Decisive and action oriented, with strong ability to drive
