Company Introduction

 SwissCham China (Swiss Chinese Chamber of Commerce in China) is the only recognized Swiss Business and Trade Association officially registered in Mainland China. We understand and represent our members’ interests both within the business community and towards governmental authorities. SwissCham China was founded in 1996 and has over 600 members today. The Shanghai Liaison Office was founded in 1997 and consists of 270 members. The Shanghai office welcomes all Swiss, foreign, and Chinese companies and individuals based in Shanghai, Jiangsu, Zhejiang, and Anhui province. SwissCham’s network covers the majority of the Swiss business community and offers a wide range of professional and governmental contacts. Serving as a networking and information-sharing platform, we help our members to work better and smarter in China.

Reporting Line

Head of Marketing and Events, Marketing and Events Manager

Tasks

  • Supporting the events team in planning and organizing events including but not limited to seminars, roundtables, webinars, social mixers, and annual events.
  • Creating contents and visual materials for different platforms, including the official website, WeChat, LinkedIn, email campaigns, and newsletter
  • Supporting the editorial team of the Chamber for “The Bridge”
  • Supporting the team with the member benefit program

Qualifications

  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail, service-oriented with positive working attitude
  • A team player, open, honest, and smart working with passion for an international organization
  • Proficiency in software, including Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; plus Chinese and international social media. Photoshop and other design software are a plus
  • Excellent language skills in Chinese and English (written and oral)
  • Chinese nationality

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or other equivalent advanced degrees in business, marketing, hotel management, or similar fields
  • 0 to 2 years of internship or working experience

Compensation and Benefits

  • Fixed salary, plus commission and bonus eligibility
  • Social insurance and benefits as specified under the Chinese labor law
  • Working in an international environment
  • Working with a young, dynamic, multilingual, and multicultural team
