Mr. Andrew Poon
Andrew Poon leads Egon Zehnder’s Financial Services Practice in Asia. Based in Hong Kong, Andrew advises his clients on board and CEO succession, as well as senior leadership development. He brings his passion for learning to leadership development and has worked extensively with both multinational and local organizations at the C-suite and board levels. Before joining Egon Zehnder, Andrew was Vice President, Group Human Resources Business Partner at AIA Group. Prior to that, Andrew spent his career in Citibank’s Global Consumer Group with a focus on strategic marketing and product management across Asia. Andrew earned a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Queen’s University in Canada and an MBA from the Indian School of Business. He understands the ways corporate and social responsibility can positively impact the business community and the world. Outside of work, Andrew enjoys musical theater and believes the performing arts have the power to harness originality and creativity.
Mr. Benno Jaeggi
Based in Hong Kong, Benno Jaeggi is active in Egon Zehnder’s Financial Services and FinTech practices with a particular focus on Investment Banking and Markets. He leverages his deep experience in Corporate Banking, Sales & Trading, Capital Markets and FinTech as a respected advisor to clients in Hong Kong and across Asia. Before joining Egon Zehnder, Benno was an executive with the ANXONE cryptocurrency exchange, one of the largest digital asset businesses in Asia. Prior to that he spent more than a decade in Wholesale Banking and on the Markets trading floors at ABN AMRO, RBS and ANZ Bank, most recently as the Global COO for Distribution and Origination board member of Balance Health Limited, a holistic health and corporate wellness business advising individuals and corporate clients across Asia. Benno began his career as a venture capital analyst. Benno earned a Master’s degree in Business Administration and IT management from the University St. Gallen in Switzerland and an MBA in Finance from the Hong Kong University of Science & Technology. Besides his native German, Benno is fluent in English. When not working, he tries to improve his golf handicap, follows his favorite football teams around the world and enjoys spending time with his wife and two children.
