During this visit, our members can learn about the business and technical assistance provided by HKSTP to facilitate the use of open data and the development of robotics technology and explore how these latest technologies can help members grow business. You will also have an opportunity to attend a Sharing Session with companies in HKSTP who are interested in doing business in Switzerland.

Program Highlights

The Data Studio is a new data-driven innovation center with a mission to encourage and stimulate the development of solutions to generate economic and social value from open data and big data. The Studio & the data studio portal is open to start-ups, innovation & technology companies, universities, research institutes and any parties interested in Big Data.

The Robotics Garage is a Makerspace and DIY fabrication destination for technology focused entrepreneurs who want to turn a dream into commercial reality. Robotics Garage have their own metal, wood, plastic and electronics workshops, technical support staff, professional grade tools and advanced fabrication machinery including 3D Printers, CAD/CAM facilities, Laser Cutter and CNC platforms. Having engaged with about 350+ members and partners, Robotics Garage has nurtured thousands of projects by providing the platform and possibilities within the area.

The tentative itinerary is as follows:

13:30 Meet at Admiralty Centre & board a coach and proceed to Hong Kong Science Park

14:30 – 15:00 Welcome Address & HKSTP Presentation

15:00 – 16:00 Sharing Session – Swiss Meets HK

16:00 – 16:15 Tea & Refreshment

16:15 – 16:45 Tour & Visit – Robotics Garage

16:45 – 17:15 Tour & Visit – Data Studio

17:15 Return trip to Admiralty Centre

* Transportation: SwissCham will arrange a coach from Admiralty Centre to HKSTP with a return trip to Admiralty MTR Station after the tour.
