Dear Members and Friends of SwissCham,

Today’s Chinese market has a strong buying power. Swiss companies in the machine tools and cutting tools industries are facing challenges from price competition and related cost pressures. What should we do in terms of better positioning ourselves? How should Swiss companies behave to transfer the maximal value to customers other than competing on price? Beyond that, what are the insights today in specific machinery industries ( mold & die, automotive, medical, aerospace…) , and what are the prospects for the future?

SwissCham Shanghai’s new Machinery Committee & SwissMem are organizing this opening event as a Roundtable to discuss these questions with representatives from related Swiss industries active in the sectors mentioned above.

*This roundtable is reserved for C-level and senior managers (MDs, General Managers, Sales & Marketing Directors) of Swiss companies, which are active in the following industries: machine tools, cutting tools or metal working.
