Dear Members and friends,The Young Professionals of the Swiss Chamber of Commerce in Hong Kong are delighted to propose you an HR themed event with special guest speakers.
This event is a unique occasion to get to know more about the job market in Hong Kong and to have the opportunity to ask questions to professionals in the area. Each of our guest speakers will do a short presentation on different topics (see below), which will be followed by a networking cocktail during which you can interact directly with them.
Links International will give us an overview of the Hong Kong Hiring Landscape and tips for Professionals searching for new careers. Links International is an award-winning industry leader in innovative human resources outsourcing in Asia. Links was established in 1999 and has offices in Hong Kong, Singapore, Shanghai, Beijing, Macau and Zhuhai. They offer a broad range of services, ranging from both retained and contingent recruitment, to payroll and visa processing, designed to cover all aspects of the human resources processes.
Leena Beejadhur will share with us her experience working in human resources and specialised in Compensation & Benefits. She has nearly 20 years of experience in both consulting and in-house in the Compensation & Benefits area. She is currently the global Head of Compensation & Benefits at Noble Group. Previously she was the Total Rewards Lead for APAC at Rio Tinto, with a regional remit of 12 countries including Australia and Singapore. Most of her consulting career was spent at Mercer where she managed multiple multinational projects and teams across a diverse group of companies, whilst identifying business development opportunities. Leena holds a Bachelor degree in Economics from the London School of Economics and a Masters degree in Economics and Finance from Warwick Business School.
Harshinei Fernando will give us some tips and advices about what a good CV is and how to prepare for an interview. Harshinei is a recruiter with more than 5 years of experience. She is specialised in banking and recently she worked as recruiter for the Risk department at HSBC.
