SwissCham Shanghai is delighted to invite you to:

Friday, June 29, 2018
08:30 – 11:30
@Hyatt on the Bund Hotel

Dear Members and Friends of SwissCham,

As of 25 May, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is enforced. The GDPR was designed to reshape the approach to data protection across the EU and to protect the privacy of its citizens. The GDPR affects IT and business processes of EU-based companies as well as non-EU companies directing activities at the EU. During this breakfast session, Roan Lamp from De Brauw Blackstone Westbroek and Philippe Snel from De Wolf will provide an introduction to the GDPR and share best practices to comply with its obligations. The presentation includes a comparison with China’s Cybersecurity law, the GDPR’s Chinese statutory equivalent.

Best regards,

Your SwissCham Team
