Dear Members and Friends of SwissCham,

SwissCham Beijing is delighted to invite you to the PwC Forensic seminar, to discuss the new China’s Cybersecurity Law and aother related IT forensics.

In June 2017, China’s Cybersecurity Law (CSL) which was released in November last year, will come into effect. CSL raises many questions for business community, including impact to IT and operations, localisation of IT systems and data, cross-border handling of customer and other important data. Central to the CSL is the definition of “Critical Information Infrastructure” (CII) and ” Network Operator” (NO) which covers many industries and the compliance requirements pertaining to each category. While some are adopting a wait and see attitude, compliance to the new requirements including data localisation, may require many organisations to take a fresh look at managing their business, IT and data. This is not at all a trivial process and may require significant commitment, time and resources to execute. Please join PwC’s Cyber Security & Privacy and Legal experts for a seminar on how you can “hack” the right response to comply with the regulations and manage your Cyber Security risks.

Note: The seminar will be conducted in English.

Seats are limited and with a priority for our members. The deadline to register is Monday 20 March noon time the latest.

With best regards,
