Double National and Schengen Visa

by swisscham in Bilateral Relations

According to recent information, individuals with two nationalities encounter difficulties when applying for a visa to enter Switzerland. The Swiss Federal Office for Migration released a new version of its guideline on that matter. Thus, a Schengen citizen (excluding Switzerland) who also has the nationality of a third country and only wants to travel with the passport of that country is requested to contact the appropriate representation of the Schengen State of which he/she possesses nationality. For more information, please see page 109 of this document (in French).
