Chinese Community in Switzerland Continues to Rise

The Chinese community in Switzerland continues to grow, whereas the number of Swiss visas issued to Chinese citizens exceeded 100Õ000 in 2013. The number of Chinese permanently residing in Switzerland has reached 11’531 at the end of 2013, following a trend of steady increase since 2006. The number of visas for Switzerland issued in 2013 in the PRC reached 107Õ571, an increase of 10Õ000 over the previous year.
