The Chinese Ambassador Ms. XU Jinghu hosted a reception for the Swiss Chinese Society. The President of SCC Mr. Thomas Wagner and around 120 people attended the meeting. Ms. XU addressed the audience and told that she appreciated the efforts and contributions that the Swiss Chinese Society has made for the relationship between China and Switzerland. She also pointed out the strengthening of the Sino-Swiss relations and the various collaborations in politics, economics, and human sciences. Mr. Wagner expressed his gratitude to Ms. XU. He stated that Switzerland was one of the earliest countries to establish the diplomatic relations with China. Moreover, with the signing of the Free Trade Agreement, he expressed his confidence on the future of the Sino-Swiss relations and ensured that the Swiss Chinese Society will continuously contribute to the cooperation between China and Switzerland.
