Industry 4.0 and Digitalization in general is doubtlessly connected with fancy technology: from automation technology over sensors and actuators to software solutions. The variety of so called “smart” solutions is enormous, but their benefits are not always as promised. On the other hand, there are rather simple and small solutions that are not that visible on the shop floor but make a significant impact on your operations. Decisions on what to do are hard and the pressure of doing something is high since not going forward means going backwards.

This workshop is designed for companies which want to bring Industry 4.0 alive in their operations quickly and efficiently. About the Trainer 关于培训师

Rene Galbavy majored in Business Administration with emphasis on strategic control, transportation and logistics. Having studied at Tsinghua University in Beijing, he is fluent in Chinese and uses it as a daily working language. Before joining Staufen, he gained extensive Lean experience as a project leader introducing a Kanban system for Liebherr in China. In 2010, he joined Staufen AG and worked on many projects in the areas of Smart Factory Planning, Industry 4.0 as well as
Lean Transformation both in direct and indirect areas. He led a team to plan a Smart Factory for a leading Chinese white goods manufacturer, which is now a well-known benchmark factory in China. In his role at Staufen Shanghai he is responsible for the areas of Smart Manufacturing and Industry 4.0. Rene Galbavy joined Staufen Shanghai in 2014 and is currently working as Head of Smart Manufacturing Center
