Spring has arrived and with it – for many of us – the desire to change and improve, also from a professional perspective. This time of renewal is also the traditional season when many Chinese professionals opt to look for new opportunities. As such, it is the right time to take a closer look at the current trends in human resource management and learning & development.

The New Reality in the Chinese economy of slower growth and increased uncertainty in markets, coupled with increasing labor costs, means that acquiring and retaining key talent is crucial to achieve sustainable business success. About the Speaker

Mr. André Gisiger, President and co-founder of ILE International Learning Enterprises, Shanghai, China

André hails from Zurich, Switzerland. He has extensive experience in management consulting, financial services and education and has lived and worked in several countries in Europe, the United States and China. Before co-founding ILE, he worked for PwC, McKinsey, AIG, Zurich Financial Services and EF, holding roles in consulting, operations, business development and product development.

This experience has helped him gain a deep understanding of the international business practices and cross-cultural communication. André received an MBA from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a BA in Econometrics from the University of California, Berkeley.
