ABB Ranks Among Top 3 of “China’s Top 100 Green Companies” in the Category of Foreign Companies

At the 2013 Annual Conference of Chinese Green Companies held recently in Kunming, Yunnan Province of China, ABB was named to the Top 3 of China’s Top 100 Green Companies 2013 in the category of foreign companies. Alibaba, Lenovo Group, and Vanke took the top three places in the category of private companies, while Haier Group, State Grid, and Tsingtao Beer were the top three winners among state-owned enterprises. The ranking of China’s Top 100 Green Companies was initiated by the China Entrepreneur Club and is the first cross-industry company ranking in the country to evaluate sustainable competitiveness. The list was first released in 2008. The evaluation is conducted based on public company information according to five major categories: cultural, economic, environmental, social and innovation.
