13th Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Geneve Stops in Beijing

by swisscham in Culture & Society

The Foundation of the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève has chosen as of this year to broaden the fields of competence represented within its jury by enlisting personalities recognised as authorities in the world of design, jewellery and architecture: creator Philippe Starck, jeweller Viren Bhagat and architect Jean-Michel Wilmotte are joining the GPHG jury, alongside American rock star John Mayer, a great watch collector and connoisseur, thus enriching a panel of twenty top-rate horology experts. This multidisciplinary international jury, extended to comprise 23 members and chaired by Aurel Bacs, international Director of Christie’s watch department, will salute the excellence of the horological productions taking part in the official competition on the occasion of this 13th edition of the Grand Prix d’Horlogerie de Genève (GPHG). The public exhibition is open from October 11 to 13 at Yishu 8 – Maison des Arts in Beijing.
