Professionals' Forums

SwissCham Beijing's Board of Directors supports different professionals’ forums that allow members to meet and exchange on practices.

There are now five Professionals’ Forums at SwissCham Beijing:

How does a Forum function?

A Forum takes all its sense with its members. To have a lively forum, members of the same professional occupation are encouraged to voice their concerns and ideas concerning their field of expertise either through the Board of Directors or the Committee Manager.

SwissCham will organise Forums to discuss specific issues concerning relating professional practices where members can exchange their experience and learn from one another.

Forums are held at the speaker’s company and are exclusive to members.

How to become part of a Professionals’ Forum?

Members can take part in the Forums depending on their professional field. For example, a person working at the Marketing department of a member company, can participate to the M&C Professionals’ Forum. Members who are interested in knowing about another professional field can also participate to forums outside their field of expertise.

Members will be notified by email on the Forums that will take place during the year and can also regularly consult the dedicated web pages. Members are strongly encouraged to forward the news to the person in charge within his/her company.

Member companies are encouraged to fully involve their staff in such forums, in order to acquire new skills and strategies for their departments and grow in a more competitive way. Therefore, SwissCham encourages member companies to share contact detail of the head of each department with the Committee Manager.
