  • 1st September 2010 - LTCS Committee Meeting & Visit of Chiomenti Studio Legale
    SwissCham organized its first LTCS Committee Meeting of the year which included a presentation by Ms. Sara MARCHETTA, Senior Associate at Chiomenti Studio Legale as well as a short visit of the company. Our host talked about "Improving the use of Foreign Capital in China".

Past Events in 2009:
  • 3 December 2009 - IP Infringement and Enforcement in China:
    SwissCham organized a roundtable with the LTC Committee.
    Horace LAM, Partner and Head of Intellectual Property (IP) Practice in the Beijing office of UK law firm Lovells, made a presentation on IP infringement and enforcement strategy for companies doing business in China. The presentation aimed to give an overview on IP right protection in China and on recent developments in Chinese IP law by discussing practical issues in order to protect one's IP rights in China.
    Yannick ROULIN, Head of the Economic and Commercial Section at the Swiss Embassy in Beijing, reported on the results of the recent Swiss-China IPR dialogue, including the meetings between the Chinese Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) and officials from the Swiss Intellectual Property Office (IPI).

  • 8 July 2009 - LTC Committee Roundtable:
    SwissCham organized a roundtable with the Legal/Tax/Consulting Committee. This strategic discussion aimed at defining a target list of the BFI Members’ issues and needs that will be implemented with the help and support of SwissCham.
